SPOC Soccer Club

The St Peter’s Old Collegians’ Soccer Club was founded in 1981 and since then has been one of the most successful amateur soccer clubs in the state. We play in the top tier of the South Australian Amateur Soccer League and have at least three teams and, sometimes four, playing at various levels in various divisions.

Our games are nearly always played on Saturdays and our home grounds are the Lloyd and Farr Ovals, well known to Saints alumni. We train under lights on the Caterer Oval during the week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the pre-season (February and March) and then on Mondays and Wednesdays when the competitive season (April to September) commences.

All Saints alumni who express an interest in representing the Club are guaranteed a game if they are available, financial to the Club and have trained at least once in the week prior. The Club places a great deal of emphasis on promoting development and opportunity for young players and over the course of a full season, over twenty competitive games can be played.

The Club has an active and varied social program and we are always looking for volunteers to assist with arranging these and in support of other match day duties, for which financial recompense can be earnt.

The Club has active public and private Facebook pages but, as an initial point of contact or with any general queries in regard to the Club, please go through the Secretary – Chris Roe (MAC ’80) via email ceroe162@gmail.com or mobile 0431 381 513.
