The excitement peaked during the Finals, with Round 1 proving to be a great start for SPOC as both the A and B teams emerged victorious in their elimination games. This success earned them a spot in the Preliminary Finals on September 2nd. The momentum continued as both teams triumphed, securing their places in the Grand Finals scheduled for September 9th.

However, the B team faced a heart-wrenching loss in their Grand Final against PAOC B, leading for much of the game but ultimately falling short in the last quarter. In contrast, the A team faced challenges of their own, as their top scorer for the season was unavailable for the Grand Final due to travel, making it difficult to adjust to a new playing style. Despite leading at half-time, they were outscored in the second half, resulting in a disappointing outcome.

The disappointment in the Grand Finals was compounded by other teams' mixed results in round 1 of their finals on September 9th. Only three out of six teams managed to secure victories, with two teams narrowly losing by one point. Despite these setbacks, there was a glimmer of hope as the E team advanced to the Grand Finals on September 23rd. Looking ahead, SPOC have three teams competing in Preliminary Finals on September 16th, with high hopes of securing spots in the Grand Finals, and the season-ending Presentation Dinner is set for September 29th at club sponsor The Maid Hotel. Despite some challenging moments, the future looks promising for SPOC as we aim for more victories and good news in the upcoming games.
