Being part of the St Peter’s Old Collegians Association is a truly rewarding experience. Together with our dedicated executive committee, we’re constantly exploring fresh and meaningful ways to bring our vibrant community together - offering support, celebrating shared experiences and strengthening the lifelong connection between old scholars, the School and each other.

Over recent months old scholars have connected through our program of activities.

The much-anticipated Intercol tournament against PAOC was hosted by PAC in July. We competed in basketball, hockey, badminton, squash, snooker, chess, bridge, golf and for the first time poker. While the results were mixed, we were proud to bring home a number of trophies for SPOC- well done to everyone involved!

The History Unlocked Tour on July 23 was attended by 50 old scholars and partners, some visiting the school for the first time since graduation others keen to share memories of their school days with their partners. Amongst guests was 97 year old, Ian Ketteridge (DAC 1945) who recalled the butter jar rations in the boarding house during World War II.

On Friday 1 August, we welcomed more than 300 guests, including old scholars, past and current parents, staff, family and friends into Memorial Hall for Cellar Fest. It was a memorable evening of fine food, exceptional wine and a shared appreciation for amazing community we have at St Peter’s College.

Throughout September, we held a series of informal chapter evenings in Canberra, Sydney and Darwin that were well attended by old scholars eager to reconnect with school peers and expand their networks. We thank the Headmaster for his attendance at a number of these events.

In the coming weeks we will be heading to regional SA, with events planned on the Yorke Peninsula on September 28 and Eyre Peninsula on October 12.

The 36th St Peter’s Old Collegians Blues Luncheon held in conjunction with the Class of 1965 Reunion will be held on Wednesday 8 October in Memorial Hall.

Back to Saints is a three-day celebration of our old scholars, traditions and community to be held at the School from Friday 31 October - Sunday 2 November. Most events are complimentary and the program is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing old scholars (and their guests) to register for one event or enjoy the full three days of activities. We hope to see you there!

The Combined Milestone Reunion will take place on Saturday 1 November with invitations extended to the Classes of 1975, 1985, 1995 and 2005.

The Year 12 students are about to reach a wonderful milestone of their own as they complete their studies at St Peter’s College. We look forward to welcoming them to the old scholar community and being an important connection back to the School and their peers for years to come.
