It was a perfect morning at Glenelg Golf Club for the annual Community Golf Day for our 55 participants. Old scholars, current & past parents, staff and friends of the School enjoy the picturesque greens which were in peak playing conditions.
After a welcome form Jonny Silcock (YNG 1981) who explained the format, teams headed out to their holes for a shotgun start. Play was smooth and many commented on the excellent conditions of the challenging course.
Groups arrived back in the Club House for drinks where prizes were presented over lunch. Bottles of Hewitson Wines were awarded to the winners of the Nearest the Pin comps and Longest Drive - all proudly sponsored by SPOC partners Berry Funerals, Evans + Ayers, Klemich Real Estate, Hewitson Wines, Sarah Construction & Hindmarsh Plumbing.
