The SPOC tennis club has had a great season thus far with two of our newly formed teams making it through to the finals. Both the Men’s Div. 4 team and the Ladies Div. 3 team have fought through the home and away season to secure a strong position in their respective finals. Congratulations to the men’s Div 4 Side who were Champions and the Ladies White for being runners-up. Congratulations also to Sam Bruce and Emily Dunstan who took out best players for the season. We look forward to grabbing some food and drinks after the finals. So, if we don’t catch you at the courts, we’ll see you at The Republic!

Furthermore, the club is looking forward to holding Rob Johnson day on the 10th of April at Kensington Tennis Club. A popular day for the SPOC tennis community to get together and celebrate the 2020/2021 season.

The annual Rob Johnson Day will be held this Saturday 10 April. Rob Johnson Day is our club open day, all players, members, family and friends are invited to attend a day of doubles tennis matches, food and drinks, from 12 midday. The event will be at our home ground – Kensington Gardens Lawn Bowls Tennis Club. This will be followed by drinks at our sponsor the Republic.

Thank you to our other major Sponsor the Parade Norwood Veterinary Clinic.

Thank you for all of your efforts this year and I look forward to seeing you all at our final event for the 2020/21 season.
