Congratulations to old scholars Oscar McGuinness (WDK 2017) and Angus Dawson (S&A 2018) who have been selected in the Australian Rowing Team in what is an Olympic qualifying year. It is the second time Oscar has made the national team after competing in World Cups and World Championships in 2022 as a lightweight single and double sculler. Angus represented Australia in the Men’s 8 at the Tokyo Olympics. The schedule of events for the Australian Rowing Team 2023 will take Oscar and Angus to Perth, Gavirate and Varese Italy, Lucerne Switzerland, before the World Rowing Championships in Belgrade Serbia in September that double as the Olympic Qualifying Regatta.
