It was a hard fought but narrow loss to our old red rivals at the 2021 Old Scholars Intercollegiate Tennis Match with PAOC retaining the E.T. Rowe Trophy for the fourth year running.

Thank you to our team members for their time and efforts representing the St Peter’s Old Collegians:
Callum Gale (FLL 2020)
Heath Perry (DAC 1991)
Jasper Benson (DAC 2019)
Richard Rosser (HWD 2020)
Tim Mittiga (DAC 2002)
Jeremy Hill (MAC 1997)
David Landers (FRR 2013)
Tom Love (FLL 2013)
Nick Masterman (S&A 1985)
Toby Langley (FLL 1989)
Brandon Seeto (FRR 2020)
James Higgins (WDK 2020)
Harry Vincent (S&A 2019)

The final score board read as follows:
Rubbers Sets Games
SPOC 6 13 120
PAOC 6 13 125

This latest loss narrows our overall lead over the Old Reds since this tennis tournament started – SPOC 40 wins, PAOC 29 wins.

As always, the matches were held on the beautiful grass courts of the Kensington Gardens Lawn Tennis Club and after the match, players gathered for a few drinks over a BBQ and reminisced about battles past.

I look forward to next year & winning the trophy back!
