Steering the ship, Oren Klemich, SPOC President, set the tone with a gracious introduction, underscoring SPOC's position as one of Australia's oldest and most extensive old scholar communities.
Oren articulated the Association's core mission—to champion the School's interests, ensuring the well-being of its community while serving as a robust support network for old scholars. The event served not only as a welcome but as a symbolic initiation into the enduring embrace of SPOC.
A tangible token of membership, the boys were presented with SPOC Caps, marking their entry into this special community.
Representatives from ten SPOC Sporting Clubs added to the gathering, embodying the spirit of camaraderie among old scholars. Graduates were warmly encouraged to join these clubs, fostering continued connections with peers and the School.
As we reflect on this special occasion, we eagerly anticipate the active participation of our new SPOC members in future events. Here's to the Class of 2023—a toast to your continued success, and we look forward to creating lasting memories as part of the SPOC family.
