St Peter’s Old Collegians’ Cricket Club was formed in 1932 and is a founding member of the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association. We are a proud, successful club, rich in tradition. We are also privileged to use the grounds of the School and it is this unique atmosphere that distinguishes us from other clubs. We train at the Caterer Oval nets, base ourselves at the Brookman Pavilion, and our home grounds are the superb Caterer and Wilson Ovals.
The Club works hard on player retention through an active and varied social program based around our major club supporter, The Maid Hotel. At present, the club fields two two-day sides and a one-day side and we have a large number of promising, enthusiastic youngsters and dedicated administrative staff, so the future looks bright. We always welcome new players, especially those about to leave School and we offer a level of cricket suitable for all playing standards in an enjoyable, welcoming atmosphere.
Your contribution will help to fund SPOC Cricket Club for another season. For example, each cricket ball costs approximately $100. When you consider that there are 12 games for each 2-day side in a year and 22 one day games, that’s close to $4,500 alone just to give our bowlers something to work with. We are extremely grateful for your ongoing support and our club would simply not survive without you.
